You currently have the option to pre-purchase up to two pieces of baggage before your Virgin Australia flight, in addition to what is included in your fare and Velocity tier allowance.

Virgin Australia has now increased prepaid baggage fees across all domestic and international short-haul fights.

When using our online booking tools – or via our Consultants, each additional bag on a domestic flight will cost $45 and on International Short-Haul will cost $70 ($AUD).

We recommend pre-purchasing additional baggage prior to arriving at the airport, to see saving of up to 45%.
